The New York Institute of Technology School of Health Professions is excited to offer FREE healthcare courses
this Fall.
High School students and recent graduates interested in healthcare can receive training and a certificate of completion from New York Tech in a high-demand area. The offered courses have been selected because they can provide the necessary skills for employment in medical offices and healthcare facilities. Students will also have an opportunity to take a course in a college setting and gain experience in an area they are considering as a future career.
New York Tech can provide this free opportunity thanks to a New York State Department of Labor grant to provide training for job opportunities in the Long Island healthcare workforce. Eligibility for free registration requires individuals to be unemployed or under-employed. Only one class per participant, and all classes meet face-to-face on New York Tech’s Old Westbury campus.
