We are excited to share that a group of talented students members of Girls Inc. at Uniondale High School had the opportunity to attend the Girls Inc. NY Luncheon, the Girls Inc. National annual fundraiser held in New York City.
The event was a valuable experience for our students, allowing them to network, learn, and be inspired by influential female leaders. They had the privilege to meet Stephanie Hull, the national CEO of Girls Inc., and Symone D. Sanders-Townsend, an accomplished author, Democratic strategist, and co-host of MSNBC's The Weekend. It was particularly exciting for the girls to discover that Symone D. Sanders-Townsend is also an alumna of Girls Inc.
We are proud of Olivia Gunning, Jordyn Brown, Danie Henry, Mahima Maragh, Sabely Chavez, and Corina Downer for representing Uniondale High School at Girls Inc. Their participation in this event showcases their commitment to personal growth, leadership, and academic excellence.
