Students from UHS recently experienced an extraordinary day of hands-on learning at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology. The field trip offered seniors a unique glimpse into the world of aviation and engineering, providing an immersive educational experience.
Seniors had the opportunity to sit in advanced flight simulators, getting a taste of what it's like to pilot an aircraft. The group watched planes taking off at nearby LaGuardia Airport, observing real-world aviation in action. Students also witnessed engineering students working on actual aircraft engines, gaining insight into the technical side of aerospace technology.
