Superintendent Dr. Monique Darrisaw-Akil, Dr. Estrella Olivares-Orellana, Director of Multilingual Learners and Mr. Pablo Ocampo, Uniondale High School assistant principal, were featured guests on ABC's Tiempo discussing some of the transformative mentoring programs offered in our district, specifically Hermanos Unidos MBK and the Latina Mentoring Program. Our staff and our dedicated mentors are helping our Latino scholars feel empowered and prepared for the future.
