UHS Model United Nations Team Earns Awards at Herricks H.S. Conference

The two-day event involved 200 delegates from schools as far away as California. Sixteen of our own scholars dedicated hours to researching and writing position papers so that they could successfully represent individuals and nations in pursuit of diplomatic solutions to a whole host of historical, contemporary, future, and fictional/simulated issues and crises. Congratulations to the entire team on their collective efforts, and especially to our award-winners, Destini B., who earned an Honorable Mention, and Reece R., who earned Best Position Paper!
