Scholars in the EMT Program will: (link to flyer)

Earn the NY State EMT Basic Certification
Earn 6 College Credits
Be instructed by NYS Certified EMS Instructors through the Nassau County EMS Academy
Learn problem solving and lifesaving skills
Get possible preference when applying for college or employment
Be offered discounts on tuition and housing from Colleges with EMT Squads

Students may be employed by FDNY, Northwell, NYU Langone, Proprietary Ambulance Services as well as Fire & EMS agencies throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
